Hasan Bratic
Chief Instructor (5th Dan)

Was introduced to Karate in 1978, and was competing as a member of the National Karate League in former Yugoslavia in 80's. After retiring from competition, Hasan completely focused on co-ordinating training sessions for his daughters Ada and Nadja Bratic (now WKF world medallists). He moved to Toronto from Slovenia in 1996. In order to create a perfect training environment for his own children, Hasan decided to build a new Karate school in 1998. The name GoalMax refers to the goal for the people associated with this school; to learn how to reach the maximum not only in sport but also in life in general. During these ten years GoalMax, has grown into one of the most successful Karate schools within Karate Ontario organization. Hasan is very strong supporter of the Olympic Karate and his dream is to see the GoalMax athletes one day on the Olympic podiums.


Mr. Bratic is a IT (Information Technology) consultant and manager.

 

Ibrahim Rasimoski
Kumite Instructor (5th Dan Black Belt)

Mr. Rasimoski made his first Karate steps in former Yugoslavia in 1978. From the beginning he shown the talent for this very popular sport in former Yugoslavia. Ibro become member of the Yugoslav Junior National Karate team in 1983. He was successful competitor in Yugoslav National Karate League and European Championships. After moving to Canada in 1993 he continued competitions for 3 more years. Mr. Rasimoski is now completely focused on preparation of GoalMax and Karate Ontario top athletes for the International Karate tournaments.
 

Mr. Rasimoski is a business owner.

 

Igor Madzar
Trainer of the High-Performance Kumite Team (5th Dan Black Belt)

Working on all aspects of the High Performance athlete development including training plan setup, competition calendar definition, individual HP athlete coaching and leading daily Kumite classes.   

 

Igor has a very long and successful career in Karate as competitor and as a coach. He started karate in 1970s. Igor was competing as a member of Yugoslavian and later Macedonian National team at many international tournaments.  Between 1995 and 2005 Igor was successfully leading development of a few internationally recognized competitors from Macedonia. During his coaching of the Macedonian National Senior kumite team FYR Macedonia won 11 medals at European and  WKF World Championships.

  • Multiple junior and Senior National Champion in Kumite and Kata of FYR Macedonia and former Yugoslavia.
  • Participated in many International Karate WUKO and WKF sanctioned championships.
  • Long term technical consultant of the Karate Club MAKPETROL from Skopje, Macedonia. 
  • Participated/led multiple International business projects within United Nations (1993-2006).

Namka Bratic (3rd DAN Black Belt)
Kids Instructor and Fitness Instructor


Namka introduced to karate in 1986. Since then she has been contently progressing in both physical and technical way. She is a Certified Fitness instructor with her specialty being teaching kids. As mother of four she has very extensive practical experience in teaching kids not only Karate but the life skills as well.


Namka is a High School teacher and Sales person.

 

Ada Bratic (3rd DAN Black Belt)
Captain of the GoalMax Kumite team


 

Ada made her first Karate steps when she was six. Today at age of 21 Ada is 6 times in a row Canadian National Champion, three time Pan-American champion, and winner of many Open International tournaments in Americas and within European Golden League. Ada won bronze medal at the last WKF Junior and Cadet World Championship in Istanbul in 2007. She is member of the Canadian National team.


Ada is a student in Computer animation program at Sheridan College.

 

Nadja Bratic (2nd DAN Black Belt)
Pre-School Children Instructor

Same as her older sister, Nadja also made her first Karate steps when she was six. Today at age of 18 Nadja is 3 times in the row Canadian National Junior Champion, two times Pan-American Junior champion, and winner of many Open International tournaments in Canada and USA. Nadja won silver medal at the last WKF Junior and Cadet World Championship in Istanbul in 2007 and become the first Canadian junior athlete winning silver medal in this sport at the world championships. She is member of the Canadian National team.
